Hayley Booker
As a clinical therapist, I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological challenges through compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. As a therapist I mainly practice from a trauma informed and humanistic lens.
My passion for counselling stems from a genuine belief in the power of human resilience and the transformative potential of a supportive therapeutic relationship.
I approach each session with the understanding that healing is a collaborative process—one that requires not only professional expertise but also empathy, trust, and a safe space for self-exploration.
For me, counselling is not simply about offering solutions, but about empowering individuals to better understand themselves, process their experiences, and develop the tools they need to move forward with confidence and strength. Recognizing that every individual is unique, I offer a holistic and integrative approach, adapting and tailoring my approach to fit each client’s needs.
I am honoured to walk alongside clients as they uncover their inner resources and work toward lasting emotional well-being.
EDUCATION
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, where I developed a deep understanding of therapeutic approaches and mental health interventions. Clinical counselling has always been a passion of mine, as I am deeply committed to supporting individuals through their emotional and psychological challenges. Prior to my Master's degree, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care, which provided me with foundational knowledge in supporting children and adolescents. Additionally, I earned an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care, further enhancing my practical skills in working with young people in diverse settings. This combination of academic training and hands-on experience enables me to approach counselling with both empathy and expertise, empowering individuals and couples to overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.
